Phoenix

Phoenix Jones is the leader of a ten-member costumed vigilante group (RLSHs) who call themselves the Rain City Superhero Movement, and operates out of Seattle and Lynnwood, Washington. In a CBS Channel 7 news broadcast, Jones is shown entering a back room of an unnamed comic book store in which he changes into costume which consists of a Dragon Skin bulletproof vest and stab plating, as well as a stun baton and oleoresin capsicum/tear gas personal defense spray.

Jones says the best way to prevent getting mistaken for a criminal by the police is to wear a supersuit. He does not condone other people dressing up and fighting crime. He says that all members of the Rain City Superhero Movement have a military and/or mixed martial arts background.

Phoenix Jones - A Real Life Superhero

Seattle's Phoenix Jones has long been the face of the real-life superhero movement, what with his secret headquarters and GQmagazine profile. However, the hero's vigilante tactics have landed him on the wrong side of the law. Phoenix Jones: MAN OR MENACE?

Phoenix Jones Stops Assault

Explains King 5:

The woman, identified only as Maria, says she was with a group of about 15 friends early Sunday morning, near Western and Columbia, when a masked man, known as Phoenix Jones, ran up and pepper sprayed them.

"He says, 'I'm a superhero' and sprays everyone," she said. "Nothing gives him a right to do that. That's harassment and assault."

She says when she saw her friends shielding their eyes, she instinctively grabbed her shoe and started hitting Jones, identified in police reports as Benjamin John Francis Fodor.

Jones has posted shaky footage of the incident, which was filmed by one of his colleagues/documentarians/dudes he hangs out with. According to the twentysomething-year-old crimefighter, he was breaking up a brawl and hasn't been charged with a crime. Nonetheless, this widely publicized incident should set back Jones' war on the scum of Seattle.

PHOENIX JONES UNMASKS!!

The man known as Phoenix Jones, a masked superhero who patrolled Seattle streets, has been fired from a job teaching autistic kids, PubliCola reports.

PubliCola reported that the Department of Social and Health Services sent Jones -- whose real name is Ben Fodor -- a letter, saying he is no longer allowed to work with kids.
The order comes after Fodor's arrest last month on suspicion of assault. Authorities say he pepper sprayed a group of people he said were fighting.

Jones may have also been involved in the illegal and fascistic pepper-spraying of Occupy protestors last May Day, with tweets and pictoral evidence supporting these allegations.
